Premium Joan of Arc Costume

The martyrdom of Joan of Arc has captured the imagination of writers and movie makers for centuries. Her story of strength, fearless courage and devotion to her beliefs makes her the perfect heroine. This glorious costume is an all in one - red velvety dress with long slits on both sides, with an layered padded armour bodice and epaulettes, with gold trim and long gold mesh sleeves to resemble chain armour and metallic silver attached cuffs. In the centre of the bodice there is a majestic red and gold cross emblem appliqued. This stunning quality costume is available in Adult size, small, medium, large and x-large. Sadly Joan of Arc was betrayed and burnt at the stake accused of heresy in 1431 a, she was only nineteen years of age. Nearly 500 years later she was honoured and blessed and made a Saint in 1920 by the Catholic Church.
