In WW2 the British Government decided to protect children from the possibility of enemy planes bombing schools by accident and had an Evacuee program, where they sent children to be billeted in the country. This Childs evacuee costume is perfect for Book Week and is available in small, medium and large. It comes with a grey peak cap worn by children at that time and a beige collared shirt with an attached green woollen look vest, To complete the costume there is an Air Raid Precaution satchel and name tag.
